ROCHESTER:
Title: Eating Disorder Network Support Group Meetings
Led by:Dr. Richard Kreipe, Director of the Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Program at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong.
Meetings include presentations by professionals, visits from recovered individuals, and informal group discussions. There is no cost for attendance at the Network meetings. Families and friends of individuals with eating disorders are invited to attend.
When: Meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Where: The group meets at the Cornell Cooperative Extension on 249 Highland Avenue, right across the street from the Highland Park. Videoconference is set-up with Ithaca and Watertown groups.

Title: Life Coaching Group - JOURNEY (Just One Person Understanding Recovery Nurtures and Empowers You)

Time: 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Participants: JOURNEY is a free (NY State Department of Health-funded) 10-week beginning life coaching group located at Unity Health System in Rochester, NY. It is designed for women over age 18 who are working on recovery and are ready and wanting to experience life without an eating disorder. Group is facilitated by Cindy J. Bitter, a certified professional life coach who has recovered from an eating disorder. The group focuses on developing and practicing of life skills and strategies that support and promote recovery, healthy choices, and lifestyle.
