Project ECHO

Project ECHO® Eating Disorders is an ongoing, virtual learning community. Participants gain knowledge and increase their skills in preventing, identifying and responding to disordered eating, body dissatisfaction concerns and eating disorders, the most fatal kind of mental illness. Evidence-based approaches and best practices in eating disorder care inform all case discussions and teaching.

Personalized Workshops (no cost)

Our team offers free educational presentations for clinics, K–12 schools, universities, healthcare organizations, and community groups. Presentations can be tailored to your audience and are designed to increase awareness, strengthen early identification, and support effective prevention and treatment of eating disorders.

I really valued the trainer’s presentation and the conversations that ensued from it. I really got that eating disorders are just the behaviors that come from having distress intolerance which I didn’t really fully understand before this presentation.

Dr. Walsh’s presentation was so helpful to me. I was surprised to learn how prevalent eating disorders are, and now I am better equipped to keep an eye out for warning signs. It was also helpful to learn about the wide variety of eating disorders - it’s a broader spectrum than I realized!
