Jennifer Dry DeSanto
Care Manager
About Me
Jen has been involved with eating disordered work since 2005 as the Coordinator of Sage House, which was a residential home for women in treatment for eating disorders.
Jennifer has spent the past 25 years working with individuals with psychiatric diagnoses, the chemically addicted, and the unhoused- most recently as an Assisted Outpatient Treatment Health Home Care Manager.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh and a master’s degree in counseling education from SUNY Brockport.
While providing linkage to treatment and care, Jennifer’s other offerings of support are eating disorder skills-based support groups to families, caregivers, and adult patients & community-based resources so individuals and loved ones have what they need to move forward in recovery.
Additional services Jen offers are eating disorder community trainings and educational opportunities for schools- all grade levels K- University level, and community providers.
Building relationships and partnering with community resources allows for strong networks of care to be built and with latitude and grace, Jen is most proud of the ability to wrap services and support around what a person needs and wants, rather than having a person “fit” into WNYCCCED.
