About Me
I am a peer with lived experience of an eating disorder who has achieved and maintained three years of meaningful recovery, and am now a social work student at SUNY Brockport. Recovery has shaped not only who I am, but the work I feel called to do. Over the past three years, I’ve helped facilitate caregiver support meetings, advocated for increased eating-disorder support funding in New York State, and worked with educational and medical providers to improve their understanding of eating disorders. I’ve also connected with countless peers walking their own recovery paths. I’m grateful to be part of a community built on understanding, compassion, and hope, and I look forward to connecting with you!
